Activity 1 – Collect temperature data and use mean, median, mode, minimum, maximum, and range to describe and compare data sets.

Activity 2 – Collect live temperature data from hot or cold water using the Observe Temperature Sensor, then use Desmos to graph and analyze your results. Adjust sliders to match your curve to an exponential model and see how Newton’s Law of Cooling predicts the cooling behavior of everyday objects.
