Directions:
- Use a USB-C cable to plug any Observe sensor into your computer's USB port.
- Click the Connect Sensor button to connect the first sensor. To add a second sensor, plug it into a different USB port and click Connect Sensor again to select its COM port.
- Select the USB serial port (COM X). The X value varies by computer and is not important. Then click the blue Connect button in the pop-up window. The status will change to ready.
- Change the Sample Rate if desired.
- Click Start Collection to log data; click Stop Collection to finish.
- Or add measurements one at a time by pressing the Add Point button. When pressed, you are prompted for the x-value for the corresponding y measurement. Once this button is pressed, time-based collection is no longer available until the page is refreshed.
- Clear Graph resets; Capture Graph copies an image of the graph to the clipboard; Export/ Import saves or opens a CSV data file.
- Click the small gray triangle to the left of the data table to view the time (t) or event along with the sensor data (y1 and y2) in the table. The y2 column appears only when a second sensor is connected.
- Click the Hide Directions button in the upper right to continue.
